ANDREA CHENIER

I have been working on Andrea Chenier for May performances in Shanghai.
It is quite a challenge to sing the role of Gerard. Much of the singing is big and declamatory. I need to make sure the middle of my voice is open so that all that area is easy to sing. The high notes are not an issue: I seem to be fine with all the high notes.
I must also say, I think it is a great opera and love the challenge of singing this Verismo music!
